The Logic, one of North and South Carolina’s favorite cover bands, began in the summer of 1998 when front man Chad Austin began a writing unit with the sole purpose of recording and writing songs but soon it was time to play and The Logic started performing. These three musicians are amazing, with their diverse talents. Eric “Strut” Benfield moves about through a concert singing and playing guitar, bass and drums; Chad Austin joins Benfield as a vocalist and changes up the night on guitar, bass, keyboards and saxophone and rounding out the group is Chad Gibson. You can find Gibson on percussion, guitar, bass, keyboards, woodwinds and cello. Indeed a multi-talented group of men. They entertain with their original work and they put their own spin on cover tunes ranging from Prince to Coldplay.
