BLINDVIEW is a local high energy rock band known for their diverse set lists and unique style.  Covers range from Matchbox 20 to Ozzy to Fuel.  The band currently has original songs featured in 3 movies, has contracted with ESPN for songs in an upcoming special and series, and is in negotiations with a major US motorcyle manufacturer for an ad campaign.  Regardless of classification, the band’s unique style always leaves audiences begging for more.

FAT FURY, fronted by Scott Newell (formerly of Badge) covers many different musical spectrums from the blues that started it all to classic rock to classic soul and today’s current hits.   As a five-man band, they are constantly working on the songs you want to hear by offering the mainstays of guitars, bass and drums along with keyboards and percussion to create a solid sound.

Creative Loafing & Double Door at Lake Norman present the Home Brew Summer Stash CD Release Party featuring the best local bands, including The Contagious Blues Band and Simplified.   Entertainment will feature performances by six of the bands on the CD (Tropic Culture, Eyes of the Elders, Lindy Dobbins, Paleface, Nicolette Emmanuelle, The Lights Fluorescent and Contagious Blues Band).
